Language games with depth
The lyrics of singer-songwriter Ruedi Stuber are light-footed, but anything but shallow. Stuber loves clever puns and offers witty entertainment, which ranges from nonsense to witty philosophical reflections. With self-deprecating mischief and quirky comments, he will make your guests smile and laugh during and between the songs presented. In addition to his own songs, Stuber has also translated 24 chansons by Georges Brassens and 10 by Michel Bühler in dialect. The singer-songwriter will gladly put together a suitable program for your event from his large repertoire.
The award-winning troubadour
Ruedi Stuber was a member of the "Bernese Troubadours" in the seventies. His repertoire comprises 160 songs. He also translated two dozen chansons by Georges Brassens into his Solothurn dialect. In 2013 the singer-songwriter was awarded the Prize for Literature of the Canton of Solothurn. There are now five CDs by Ruedi Stuber and his accompanying band, the Schweigende Mehrheit.
