siJamais - The party crashers

siJamais recently had to disband. Simone has found a new job as an event manager for private parties. But on her first assignment, of all things, everything goes wrong: the grandly announced main act threatens to be canceled, and an uninvited guest causes trouble and helps himself to the buffet and alcoholic beverages. It soon transpires that it is her former band colleague Mia. She was the least able to cope with the break-up of siJamais. To make matters worse, among the official guests Simone also discovers what was once the third in the group: Jacqueline - free of any nostalgia at the side of a young lover...

With the help of flattery and blackmail, the desperate event manager persuades her two former colleagues to stand in for the party act. Reunited, the three artists outdo themselves and even surprise their audience with a miraculous transformation at the end...

The music

As always with siJamais, the dense story is told with lots of music. The trio's rich repertoire includes pop songs, klezmer, jazz standards, tango and techno echoes. The songs are rewritten, combined and reinvented, virtuoso solos alternate with three-part choral interludes and make the instrumental and vocal skills of the three professional musicians glow.

The trilogy

siJamais offer three full-length programs. A musical sequel in which each part also stands for itself. "kriminell - eine musikalische Massnahme für Vorbestrafte und Unbedarfte", in which the three musicians serve their sentences in prison. It continues with "incognito", where the trio goes underground and the protagonists experience wild adventures on all continents. The third part is perhaps hilarious and is entitled "posthumous - three women bite the dust".
The first episode "kriminell" can also be booked as a short version. (20-40 minutes)
