This duo enchants its audience with Christmas songs from three continents: Munich jazz singer Stefanie Tornow and jazz guitarist Beat Baumli from Baden make music that is creative and energetic, but also thoughtful and profound, creating an incomparable atmosphere at the most contemplative time of the year - perfect for your company Christmas party or your event in the run-up to Christmas.

In addition to well-known American Christmas classics such as "Jingle Bells", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and "Christmas Song", the duo's repertoire also includes lesser-known melodies, such as "Papa Noel De Camiseta" from Brazil. Modern and sensitive arrangements of well-tried carols such as "Silent Night" or "God Rest You Merry Gentlemen" complete the program.

The duo not only performs at Christmas time, but also throughout the year, for example with Bossanova pieces and songs from the Great American Songbook.

On request, Stefanie Tornow and Beat Baumli can also perform as a trio (with double bass) or quartet (with double bass and drums).

The musicians

Stefanie Tornow from Munich has many years of stage experience in various formations, including the Stefanie Tornow Quartet and Note Azure. In addition to her supple voice, she is also characterized by her willingness to experiment. Her passion is the interpretation of jazz classics.

Beat Baumli has been on the road for decades as a freelance jazz guitarist and bandleader in many different formations. He trained at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Swiss Jazz School in Bern and was nominated for the Swiss Jazz Award in 2015. His style is timeless and is characterized by a captivating musical expression.
