When exceptional talents from the Swiss music scene gather to enjoy the hottest music between 1960 and 2000, Flashgarden, one of the grooviest cover bands in Switzerland, is born.

Precise, energetic rhythm as well as musical creativity and diversity are the main focus of this band. Many a hit is presented in a refreshingly new way. The musicians' joy of playing and the earthy grooves turn your event into a dance party.

With a carefully selected repertoire from blues to soul, rock and funk, the pearls of rock music are strung together to form a chain. The songs of the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley and Sting are not missing, nor the riffs of Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Led Zeppelin and Chuck Berry.
Funk instrumental classics like the indestructible "Pick up the Pieces" expand the repertoire.

If you are looking for a band for your event or party where you can really dance, "Flashgarden" is the perfect choice. The music is not suitable as background and aperitif music.

The band members

The voice of the singer Martina Schibler is often compared with that of Janis Joplin. Martina enjoyed her vocal training at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern. No wonder that the Flashgarden Repetoire includes several songs by Janis. Whoever heard Martina ever sing Janis will not forget this so quickly. Chicken skin is included in the fee.

Exceptional guitarist Anton is a professional who is a true all-rounder (Jazz School Lucerne). He plays/played with Pünktchen and Anton, Raindogs (Tom Waits Covers), Les deux guitares (gypsy jazz), and is the head of the band "Die Hellen Barden". With Flashgarden he does not shy away from even the most demanding rock riffs.

Tastenmann Jürg Bernet is at home in the jazz and rock area as well as in classical music. He attended the Swiss Jazz School in Bern and then trained as a church organist! As a pissed off sound tinkerer he has a flair for warm sounding cult instruments of the sixties, (Fender Rhodes, Moog Synthesizer) which he takes to every gig despite their considerable weight.

Heidi Moll is Bern's electric bass virtuoso par excellence. Long is the list of bands Heidi has played in. Legendary are her solo concerts in which she accompanies her solos on the (double-necked) bass herself.

If you ask in Switzerland for an animal grooving drummer with the timing of a clockwork, sooner or later the name Peter Fischer will come up. Peter has already served pretty much everything that has rank and name with his rhythms. From the intimate jazz trio (Mark Koch Trio) to jazz-rock bands (Twice a week, Sägewerk 01) he is stylistically at home everywhere.
