They stand for hope
The trio consists of Yaroslav Revutskyi (violin), Tetiana Shnaider (cello) and Claude Bowald (guitar), three professional musicians from Switzerland and Ukraine. As the formation "Nadiya" (Ukrainian for "hope"), they play classical pieces by Béla Bartók, Myroslaw Skoryk and Astor Piazolla, for example. However, their repertoire also includes music from other genres, such as pieces by the folk band Väsen, Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" or "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.
Chamber concert, wedding or funeral service
With their touching sounds, "Nadiya" provide the perfect musical setting for a classical chamber concert at your event or for moving moments at your wedding. Nadiya" will also be happy to pay their last respects to a loved one at a funeral service. On request, the trio will provide soft background music at your event. The passionate instrumentalists select and arrange the music for their program with the utmost care.
Three renowned artists
Yaroslav Revutskyi and Tetiana Shnaider have lived in Bern since fleeing the Ukraine as a result of the war and are involved in numerous music projects. Together with Claude Bowald from Bern, they founded "Nadiya". Yaroslav Revutskyi completed his training as a concert violinist in Odessa, Ukraine, and has already performed at many well-known festivals in Europe and internationally. Tetiana Shnaider has already performed with Yaroslav Revutskyi in the Ukraine and worked for many years as a music teacher and accompanist. Claude Bowald studied guitar at the conservatory in Biel and later arrangement and composition and is still active as a music teacher today.
