The Singing Amazons
Behind the romantic and innocent name "Polly's Garden" hide three singing amazons, who have been asked a lot in life. With disarmingly honest self-irony, they courageously face their daily madness as working housewives, mothers and show stars. Their "Urban Country" is a furious mixture of soul, singer/songwriter, southern rock, rockabilly and country in the style of the Dixie Chicks, Johnny Cash, Eagles and the Supremes.
Cheeky shows
Polly's Garden inspire with their cheeky, winking live shows and their fantastic voices. They spice up their songs with wild stories from the plump life, but never without winking the wrong eyelashes.
In 2015 their EP made it from 0 to number 13 in the iTunes country charts. They played at the renowned Jazz Festival in Basel and inspired a huge audience at the International Country Music Festival in Zurich in 2016.
In October 2017 their first longplayer album "THE (ALMOST) NAKED TRUTH" was released with eleven strong original songs.
Polly's Garden are supported by their top-class band: Dani Bless, a versatile guitarist; Joe Schwach, a guitar veteran of Swiss blues and country music; Rainer Hagmann, a virtuoso violinist; and Geri Zumbrunn, a composer, arranger and jack-of-all-trades on bass.
Look forward to a firework display of powerful-voiced music, energetic dance, sensual femininity and stunningly bitter and wicked comedy.
