The music

With two-part vocals, guitar and subtle drums, the two professional musicians David Knoblauch and Piero Stauffacher create a versatile sound. Whether background music or jazz for an aperitif, gala dinner or vernissage, singer-songwriter pieces for cozy occasions or rock and disco for your party - the versatile duo is happy to cater to your wishes. The two sing in English, German and dialect.

The musicians' varied repertoire includes songs such as "Better Together" by Jack Johnson, "Candy" by Paolo Nutini, "Chlini Händ" by Kunz, "Come Together" by the Beatles and "Scharlachrot" by Patent Ochsner. The duo is also happy to accept song requests. The duo can also be joined by other musicians on request.

The band

David Knoblauch has a master's degree in music education pop/rock on the electric guitar and works as a freelance musician and instrumental teacher. He teaches guitar, ukulele, theory and singing. In addition to the "Duo Pablito", David Knoblauch is involved in other projects such as the Gewächshausgärtnern and the Jeannine Wiemann Duo.

Piero Stauffacher studied jazz drums at the Jazzcampus Basel and pop/rock at WIAM. He works as a drum teacher and is also a board member of BADABUM-Atelier, a school for creative music education in the canton of Zug. In addition to the duo Pablito, Piero Stauffacher is active in band projects such as Grisli and the Nyatreez, Pablitonic and NA-? are active.

The two musicians founded Duo Pablito in 2024 and have since played at venues including the Kursaal Bern, the Landhotel Hirschen in Erlinsbach, MAG Aarau and the Swiss Gymnastics Festival.
