The cellist solo and in the duo "Clarincello"
Stefania Verità is a cellist trained in Italy and Switzerland who will enchant your guests with her passion for music and her fiery temperament. As a soloist she plays masterpieces from baroque to pop. She also performs in other formations, such as the duo "Clarincello" with Roberto Petroli on clarinet.
With the Roberto Petroli Trio
Stylistic contrasts and an enormous virtuosity distinguish the Roberto Petroli Trio. Stefania Verità on cello and electric cello, Gianvito di Maio on keyboard and the Italian clarinetist Roberto Petroli translate their shared love of classical music and jazz into fiery rhythms and colourful soundscapes. Their concerts are full of surprises, spontaneity and improvisation.
With the Klengel Trio
The Trio Klengel, which was formed in 2016, is named after the composer August Klengel. Already in 1912, the three daughters of the composer Julius Klengel, a relative of August Klengel, founded a Klengel Trio. Like this first one, the current trio (cello, violin and piano) promotes the works of long forgotten composers. Spoil your guests with rare acoustic delicacies!
With the ensemble "Salon Passion"
The ensemble "Salon Passion" was founded in 1996 by musicians of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. Besides Stefania Verità on cello, the quintet consists of Marc Luisoni on violin, Johannes Gürth on viola, Peter Kosak on double bass and Scarlet Cavassini on piano. The five professional musicians offer you a surprising program with musical pearls from past eras. The salon music is suitable for every occasion, both as a concert and as dance music.
The musician
Stefania Verità studied cello at the conservatory in Alessandria, Italy. She continued her studies first in Italy and then obtained the soloist diploma at the Bern Conservatory of Music in 1991. In addition to her participation in various leading orchestras in German-speaking Switzerland, including the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra, Stefania Verità has been a cellist in the "Nina Corti" ensemble and the "Salon Passion" ensemble for many years. She has performed in various formations in Europe, the USA and Asia. In addition to her solo and chamber music activities, she has often performed on the borderline between jazz, pop and experimental music. Stefania Verità also teaches at the Zurich Conservatory.
