The band interprets songs from artists like John Hiatt, Jackson Browne, Oasis, Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Tom Petty and many more in an idiosyncratic yet authentic way. Recently, original compositions by bandleader Jimmy Hay have been added to the program. Thanks to the strong voice and the sophisticated guitar technique of the front man, the dynamic interaction of the musicians and the outstanding choral singing, the formation will also carry your guests away.

To dry off or enjoy acoustically

Do you want to rock and roll at your company or private party? This band knows how to create a party atmosphere! If there is enough space, there is dancing in front of the stage. However, the band does not play at wedding parties.
The repertoire of "Jimmy Hay & Friends" includes about 50 songs - so the band can entertain for hours. They play concerts or even several sets of 40 minutes each. If you like it a bit quieter, they can also perform as a purely acoustic ensemble. However, the group is not suitable for discreet background sound.

Musicians with heart and soul

Frontman Jimmy Hay has been "on the road" as a singer and guitarist for over forty years. At the end of the 60's he performed for the first time in the folk clubs of his home country Scotland and then lived for a long time in the music mecca Glenuig. As a street musician, he later travelled all over Europe with various formations before finally settling in Emmental at the end of the 80s. Since then he has been a guest in various local rock and jazz groups and has continued to perform as a one-man band. In 2008 he founded "Jimmy Hay & Friends".
